A Cordless Reading Lamp That Dims to the Light You Actually Want

Household lighting is usually too dim to read by or too bright to relax under. This lamp fixes that with three brightness steps from a touch on the housing, and it has no cable at all: charge it over USB for about two hours and it runs eight to ten. The body is aluminium in a Nordic minimalist shape, 35 or 45 cm tall, so it belongs on a bedside table and can be carried to the sofa. Five colours.

A best seller among our cordless lamps: the dimming and the lack of a cable are both why.

Why Choose This Cordless Reading Lamp

• Three-stage touch dimming: bright to read by, low to sit under, chosen by tapping the lamp.
• Completely cordless: no cable tangle and no socket to be near.
• 8 to 10 hours per charge: a full evening and the next one, from a two-hour USB charge.
• Aluminium housing: it gives the lamp weight, which a plastic shell does not.
• Two heights: 35 cm for a bedside table, 45 cm to light a reading chair.

Perfect For

• Reading in bed: dim enough not to wake anyone, bright enough for print.
• A sofa corner: pick it up and bring it, which is the point of cordless.
• A desk: top brightness for work, lowest for a video call.
• Rooms without a convenient socket: the lamp stops depending on the wiring.
