A Half Dome Table Lamp in Ceramic and Glass That Throws Light Down, Not Out

The half dome shade on this lamp directs light downward onto the surface it stands on, which is exactly what you want from a bedside or desk light and exactly what a bare bulb fails to do. A ceramic base carries a glass shade over an iron frame, so the weight sits low and the lamp does not tip when you reach past it. At 7.87 inches wide and 9.84 inches tall it fits a nightstand without crowding it.

One of our most popular Nordic-style bedside lamps: the ceramic and glass pairing is what sets it apart from pressed-metal lamps.

Why Choose This Half Dome Table Lamp

• Contemporary half dome shade: light goes down onto the book or the desk rather than into the room.
• Ceramic and glass build: materials that hold their finish, on a durable iron frame.
• Compact 7.87 x 9.84 inch footprint: it fits a nightstand that already has a book and a glass on it.
• Integrated LED: no bulb to source, and nothing to replace for years.
• Push button switch: found by feel in the dark, which a touch panel is not.

Perfect For

• A bedside table: directed light for reading that does not wake the other side of the bed.
• A desk or study corner: light on the page without glare on a screen.
• A living room side table: a warm pool of light in a corner, which no ceiling fitting gives you.
• A Nordic or minimalist scheme: the shape is the decoration, so the surface can stay clear.
