A Slatted Wood Pendant on an Adjustable Cord

Vertical wood slats curve out and back in again, so the shade is widest at the middle and closed at the top and bottom. Inside sits a white diffuser: the slats throw their own shadow pattern onto the ceiling and the walls, while the light that reaches the table below stays even and glare free. The cord is adjustable, so the drop is set at installation instead of being fixed in the factory.

Chosen for what it does to the ceiling: the slats cast a striped shadow that a plain shade cannot, and that pattern is most of the effect in a room with a high window.

Demand is high and stock is moving fast. Ordered today, dispatched within 24-48 hours.

Why Choose This Wood Cage Pendant

• Slatted wood shade: the pattern on the ceiling is part of the fitting rather than an accessory.
• Inner diffuser: the bulb is never seen directly from a seat at the table.
• Adjustable cord: the drop is set to the table and the ceiling you actually have.
• Rounded profile: wide at the middle, so it reads as a volume rather than a flat disc.
• Warm wood finish: it sits with an oak or walnut table instead of against it.

Perfect For

• Over a dining table: the drop is set so the shade hangs below eye level across the table.
• A kitchen island: even light on the working surface without a hard edged beam.
• A room with tall windows: the shadow pattern has somewhere to land.
• A stairwell: the long cord makes a tall space workable.
