Floor Lamp Handcrafted Japanese Rice Paper Shade with Soft Ambient Glow for Living Room
Handcrafted Rice Paper Floor Lamp That Turns Harsh Light into a Soft Glow
This floor lamp wraps its bulb in handcrafted Japanese rice paper, so the light leaves the shade diffused and warm instead of glaring. The washi shade sits on a lightweight metal frame standing 60 cm tall and 40 cm across, giving a sculptural shape that suits Japandi, minimalist and contemporary rooms alike. It works as an ambient statement piece in a living room or as quiet mood lighting beside a bed.
A favourite with customers furnishing calm, natural interiors: the paper shade is the detail people mention most.
Demand is high and stock is moving fast. Ordered today, dispatched within 24-48 hours.
Why Choose This Rice Paper Floor Lamp
-
Premium handcrafted rice paper: the natural fibre texture shows in the light itself, which is why no printed shade looks the same.
-
Soft, warm ambient glow: light is spread across the whole shade rather than thrown from a single point, so there is no hotspot to squint at.
-
Lightweight metal frame: the lamp lifts with one hand, so rearranging a room is not a two-person job.
-
Shapeable form: the legs arrive straight and bend outward by hand, letting you set the stance you want.
-
CE marked: the electrical parts are certified to the European standard.
Perfect For
-
A reading corner: enough light to read by without the brightness that keeps you awake afterwards.
-
Bedroom mood lighting: the diffused glow suits evenings better than an overhead fitting.
-
Japandi and minimalist rooms: paper and metal belong in a scheme built on natural materials.
-
A quiet corner that feels empty: the sculptural shape fills the space even when the lamp is off.
